This fan was purchased along with two other fans to move the air conditioning from the main air conditioned room to the bedroom. other fans, both "Opolar" brands, have been working flawlessly for years. This fan has been out of service for a few days. As the temperature rose in our industrial house, 2 Opolar fans needed a 3rd fan to push air into the room. I bought this fan as I couldn't find Opolar on Amazon and it broke. I can't rate any product I've ever bought lower than this one. Most importantly, this was a medical situation where the person in that room had a long journey and desperately needed a temperature to stay down. With 3 fans needed to blow an air conditioned room at high temperatures, this fan caused a nightmare that failed after 100+ weather conditions for days. i borrow amazon with instant credit so i can buy opolar the next day (they are on amazon but hard to find as they are unbranded you have to read a copy and buy a lot of high reviews).
