After the pandemic, things like gloves were hard to come by as they were considered great items for ALL things - coloring hair, cooking, collecting garbage. I mainly use them for cooking. Not because I'm a germ phobia. I just HATE taking food out of my hands. Like the other reviewer, raw meat is a HUGE culprit. In my case, it's ground beef. I buy a huge 5lb roll and divide it into vacuum bags. So, that's what I don't want under my nails - long or not. In addition, it is more hygienic for the meat, even though it is cooked. I also use them when tossing frozen potatoes (potatoes, french fries, wedges) in the fryer so I don't have to wash the "junk". out. They're a bit big for my hands, but they work. The only problem is the top of the dispenser. Sometimes I take more gloves than I need and try to find a place to put them. I hope that as the number decreases, they will be easier to get. Overall, for the price (currently $14.99 before tax), it's pretty good value.
