I like this mirror! Its sleek design is pleasing to the eye. There is enough light for me to do my makeup and check my outfit for the day. It must be plugged into an outlet. It was "cracked" on the back plastic film, but nothing that would damage the mirror itself. or its strength. Only the screws holding the rear end were probably over-tightened too quickly. Hanging was a bit more difficult. When trying to hang it up, it was difficult to see exactly where the screw holes were. In the end we just hung two screws from the top. When we got the top two in the holes, the bottom two were too difficult to get right without loosening. It's beveled at the bottom where it's not screwed to the wall, but that doesn't affect it much. The top two have been secured with rivets and seem to be holding up great. Overall I love this mirror!
