Just mounted on new solid oak stairs last night. The steps are so slippery, especially with socks, I knew one of us old men was going to fall badly. It makes an incredible difference. They were easy to install. When applying the tape along the guides, make sure you stay 1/8 inch away from the tape. I got too close, put some tape on the painter's table and regretted it. It took me a while to peel the blue tape off the tread tape. I took my time and was slow and deliberate. I've only had problems with large blisters a few times. It's clear, but you can still see it, which we don't mind because it's nice to know where to step. I used a 6" x 30" product and I'm glad I went big. Even when unrolled, there are places where it looks streaked with microbubbles, but that's not too bad. He shows my beautiful new staircase and gives us the security we need. Added a few photos from different angles and lighting conditions. Another advantage is that if we drop something, it protects against scratches. I'm afraid I'll have to remove them one day, but for now we're very happy with them. The cat loves her too. Sorry, last two photos are on your site.
