Pros: This shower curtain is very sparkly and pretty, exactly as it appears in the pictures. It lets in all the light, while still offering a little bit more privacy than a completely transparent curtain. The metal grommets at the top are a MUST because otherwise this curtain is thin enough to tear right off. You can buy this exact same design from several different sellers, but this seller has the best price.Cons: The white plastic rings are tacky and make the curtain look very cheap. This curtain is described as 15 gauge weight and "heavy duty" but I would not describe it that way at all. It's definitely not 15 gauge, but more like 10, and it's thin enough that it blows in and sticks to you. It does have a few weights at the bottom, but they are not nearly heavy enough to do the job. And before you say that the blowing is caused by something in my house like a vent, fan or window, that is not the case. The blowing effect that we've all experienced is caused by something called the "Bernoulli Effect" and it happens in everyone's shower, regardless of outside air effects. With that in mind, all shower curtains should be made with enough weight at the bottom to stop the blowing, and this one isn't. So I'm going to have to buy additional weights to keep the curtain from sticking to me. Also, there are no suction cups on the sides of the curtain, which it really needs, because it flies away from the wall and causes water to spray out onto the floor. So I am buying adhesive clips to stick to the shower walls to hold the curtain in place.Bottom Line: Even though the cost of this curtain is low, your final cost to make it work for you will be higher if you have to buy additional weights and clips, and nicer rings. You should choose a nicer, heavier curtain with a weighted bottom and suction cup sides.
