I recently bought this small portable AM/FM radio to replace my old one. The radio is cute and comfortable to hold, but my only disappointment is the reception and return. With or without the antenna and new Duracell batteries, I found the reception to be poor as there were very few stations on the AM/FM channels. and lots of static. The radio arrived on time, was well packaged, just don't need it now as my old one works. In today's tech world, everyone uses their cell phones, but these little guys (I'm from the old school) are still handy when out for a walk, sitting in the park, or lying in bed at night. I gave away my old one because I thought it wouldn't work, so I thought until I tried again, cleaned it and replaced it with new better batteries. Voila! Back in business. I couldn't believe how well it played years ago with better reception and more channels to listen to.
