They are adult size, I bought them for dancing. I am a former gymnast and coach and love to train in it. If you have space in the front or back, they will be too big. My big ones, I bought these based on the reviews but I'm keeping them because they're great slippers. If you're buying them for dao chi, tai bo, yoga, dancing, etc. or you're just an older person who likes to exercise and do light workouts, I would recommend buying the size you wear in street shoes, work in them and bad beaten. These are not higher quality shoes, they are basic shoes but should still work properly unless you are buying them for fashion purposes.
