I installed four USB powered LED strips in a bookshelf and needed an easy switchable power source for them. There was plenty to choose from on Revane, but this one from Kinfive (!?) was almost perfect. It features an on/off switch, attached power cord, and additional 120V AC outlets. The device should probably be placed on the floor or on a table since there is no wall bracket. But I had to attach it to the bookshelf somehow. While double-sided foam tape or velcro are obvious choices, I didn't want to ruin the bookshelf's finish with them. So I took it apart and found safe spots to drill holes and then secured it with screws. Yes, I know the warranty is now void. Screw holes in wood are much easier to patch or cover up than scrap Styrofoam or Velcro. You can see the result in the photo. The power button is easy to grab under the power cord connector.
