I build a lot of houses and do road work almost every day. The hood works as advertised. The amount of wood dust, MDF dust that accumulates in the tent is quite dramatic. Especially when cutting a 6" baseboard at a 45 degree angle (before I can handle it). I use a quick release clamp to hold the rosette while working with this jigsaw of mine. So I needed that extra port to the right of the saw. When copying, I simply place the edge of the tent pole directly onto the piece of wood on the saw edge. That works great. 12 inch miter saw dust bags just can't hold enough dust.
