What did I pay for? The product is a complete failure.

Let's be objective! logitech f710 is positioned as a wireless controller, but in fact the gamepad does not fulfill its main declared function of "being wireless". Maybe I came across such a "buggy" instance, but I'm not the only one who encountered such "symptoms", and the xbox 360 wireless controller, too, seems to be wireless (3 years worked for me without any complaints). One thing is clear - I cannot recommend the F710 for purchase.

Pros
  • + Ergonomic shape, the gamepad is really comfortable to hold in your hands, no doubt, soft-fill plastic and rubberized side inserts make their contribution; + Build quality (does not hold together, does not play) and plastic in general; + Support for two modes: xinput and directinput (the corresponding switch button is implemented for switching).
Cons
  • What it is? "Good, reliable wireless gamepad" - you answer. But in fact, this is a piece of useless "UG" that does not fulfill the stated functions! Well, I'll start with the fact that I got this "product" in the store for a promotion. I chose the gamepad because my xbox 360 wireless controller is already 3 years old, so I wanted to upgrade, feel something "new" (in the sense of the Xbox controller somehow got boring and the analog sticks started to play a little) and the logitech f710 fell as impossible as it should be. As a result, already on the fourth day I had an "almost" irresistible desire to smash this logitech against the wall, due to the constant loss of signal from the receiver. Literally all these four for me "fought" with sudden delays and freezes during the game (for example, in the game "Shovel Knight": you press the D-pad "right" - the character moves to the right, then you press the "A" (jump) button - the character does not jump , but continues to run to the right, while pressing any other buttons / cross - cause zero reaction - such a "gimp" can occur 5-6 times per evening). Reinstalling the drivers \ using the "F710ConnectUtility" \ reconnecting the receiver (respectively, connecting via the supplied USB extension cable) did not bring any result, while there are no extraneous radio devices in the room, a wifi router that can interfere and thereby cause "out of sync". All I want is to β€œbomb” on the couch and calmly β€œrest” with a good game, but I can’t because this logitech F710 constantly loses connection, and I β€œgifted” my xbox 360 controller to a friend (in vain, I got excited). It remains only to try out "extreme" repair methods from "foreign" forums such as soldering small antennas, gluing foil.
