Even after many weeks it is very hard.
Brown strap to match my rose gold Garmin Square Venu. However, it is very rigid and not pliable at all. It is difficult to bend the band to unfold it. I thought it would soften over time but it wasn't there. It's not real cowhide, but I don't think it was advertised as such. It almost feels like "skin" and certainly doesn't smell like leather. This is better than the original strap that came with my watch. The fit is perfect and didn't fall off like some people said.
