I really like this alarm clock except for one "fatal" flaw in its design. For some silly reason the alarm clock has a volume control that prevents it from being set below "15" of about 30. This volume is much higher than if I were listening to the radio in my room fully awake. and sing along. It even made my daughter get out of bed to see what was going on, it was so loud. I can't wake up to an alarm clock so loud that I panic every morning. I would have returned this item if my husband hadn't said he wanted it. It sets an alarm for the backup, but wakes up 99.9% of the time before it goes off, so it's rarely used as an alarm.
