I first discovered this type of strap in the 70's when I bought some compression straps from an outdoor store for use with camping gear. I've since found other uses for them, e.g. B. to attach things to my bike or as a trouser belt. But the ones you buy in the store are limited to a few specific lengths, widths, and thicknesses. They are also color limited. And buckles aren't always what you want. First of all, they are expensive. Very expensive. If you buy them, you can cut them to the exact length and use your choice of buckles, sold separately. Width and thickness are fixed but will fit most common needs (there are other brands if you need something different). The quality is top notch (and I'm a hardcore person who prefers quality over quantity). I really like the color options. And even after adding the buckles, the cost is a fraction of what you pay at the store for pre-cut, pre-cut straps. I bought several rolls and will probably buy more.
