Arrived quickly. The vase was wrapped in bubble wrap and a standard UPS mailbox was lined all around with thin foam. I ordered a vase without decoration and it corresponds to the description. The hole for the flower is slightly shorter than the length of the highlighter. I will be buying short-stemmed flowers/gift sets to match. I ordered the vase next to a small flat 1950's baby headstone that has no sides to put anything on. The tombstone and vase have rough sides and they look good together. I'm tired of flowers disappearing from the graves with every visit. I think this vase will stand up to the weather and lawnmowers and hopefully keep the flowers on the grave. I am satisfied with the vase, it is simple but beautiful, durable and heavy. I could take it to the grave myself and just put it as close to the headstone as possible.
