Great strap but too big pins caused problems

Strap is ok if a little long. I haven't seen an option to order a shorter strap. The real problem was with the pens. The length is just over 18mm, I'd say 18.2mm if I had to guess. So they didn't fit. I was able to pull out the retaining pin and push the pin out. Then I replaced them with old rivets. So now the strap works fine, but I'm disappointed that I had to go through so much to get it working.
