It's been 2 weeks without packaging and I'm very happy with their (3) performance. Haven't used them enough to know how long the charge will last. I fully charged each of them in just a few hours. It's ready to use - you just decide where to send it! I need to update the load time over time. Now for the caveats. Horizontal works much better than vertical. The magnet could be a bit stronger, or perhaps the base metal would be more receptive, as the slightest impact would cause the light to fall out of its mount. (He's fairly long-lived.) To counteract this; To turn the light on and turn it off through its phases, you need to "tap" one end very lightly to continue. The problem is that contact reception is infrequent, requiring you to tap harder or all the way on the end of the lamp with each step. It really just takes a patient "touch", but it can be a bit frustrating. So I think the sensor could be stronger. Nice slim design and easy grip out of the mount when you need a quick flashlight. Be careful where you place these holders, 2 of which are included. The magnet in the lamp is strong enough to hold a 4" zinc plate mounted anywhere, horizontally of course! It's a good idea to place one next to a charging source. MHO. You will receive a 6ft USB Type-A/Micro USB Type-B adapter, 2 lamp sockets with 2 additional double-sided patches, lamp and instructions (see photo) MHO. All of this and I still feel like I got a fair deal. I'm quite happy with mine sorting out the quirks. I bought 3 to put anywhere! And I would do it again! ;)
