Review on Jigsaw STANLEY SJ60, 600 W by Kiril Stanoychev ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I should have looked better, spent money on an ordinary product.

I just got it and decided to check how it saws, barely took aim. I cut through 10 cm chipboard, I see a stopper lying around. Fell off the shaft on which the roller rotates. Okay, I think it happens. Installed back. I made different cuts of chipboard, under 45, straight, semicircle. Honestly, I didn’t really like to drive along the line, it’s very difficult because of visibility, but the sawdust blows off well, you can remove the glass and work without it, in order to connect the vacuum cleaner, you need to buy an adapter or collect something after short tests. began to remove sawdust and lo and behold, again a stopper but larger. barely found. the shaft that controls the pendulum stroke mode, miraculously did not lose the ball and the spring, the position lock of the mode switch lever. I had to tinker to install it in place, it seems that it doesn’t fall out on its own, but I didn’t feel a characteristic click during installation. Now I think that the next one will fall off. I will buy good files and continue the tests. I didn't really like the sawing quality either, but to be sure of its capabilities, I will still visit with different materials. Backlash can be less, but the roller is 2 mm above the cut surface. For home repairs will go if it does not fall apart). I was disappointed with the build quality. It is bad when you are not sure about the reliability of the tool.

Pros
  • price, soft start,
Cons
  • assembling . cutting line control, short cable.
