I bought this watch on 08/10/2020. I'm a casual hiker so I didn't sweat or get wet in it. Bottom line, it's not charging after 10 months. You are still under warranty and Garmin will SLOWLY ship a 'Refurbished' watch as a replacement. So far the process will likely take 3 weeks - and all the time while the watch is under warranty - with no extended warranty or extended warranty. My Fitbit Surge has lasted over 5 years. I think I'll go back to Fitbit or try Apple. Longer story with dates. 06/25/2021 - Loading process completed and sent back. UPS lost. Tracking revealed it had been in Hodgkins, Illinois, since June 28. A week later I call Garmin and Garmin Tech says I have to wait a few more days - call Friday. Friday, so another week is lost on the clock! Garmin ships refurbished watches. probably Monday, but they will not expedite delivery. It will be 3 weeks before I have a watch again. And in what. it's "restored" - and can either be lemony or not as processed as mine.
