I bought this ball and chain to make a replacement necklace for my son's baseball tag. I received it as planned and it arrived as pictured. I didn't use it but my 13 year old used kitchen scissors to cut the chain and assemble the necklace for my son. I was a bit dismayed when using kitchen scissors. She said it was difficult to cut the chain, but she managed in the end. I took this as an indication that wire cutters would do a good job of cutting it to length. Then I introduced her to them ;
