Review on Mad Dog Concepts Pajama 3 Piece Men's Clothing by Dale Toth

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks great and true to size

When I unpacked the Mad Dog Concepts pajama set I was amazed at how thin the material was. The product description described the material as fleece, but the material is not the fleece I imagine when I think of a fleece shirt. This material is warmer than the cotton-flannel pajamas it replaced, but it doesn't seem to breathe like cotton, so the warmth can feel slightly clammy. According to the "Made in China" label on the back of the shirt, the material is made of 100% polyester. Perhaps in the future Mad Dog Concepts will be able to eliminate breathability from materials by incorporating moisture-wicking threads into the fabric. My feet are always cold so I'm glad my pajama set comes with matching socks. As for size, I'm 36 inches. Waist. The sizing chart for my former pajamas indicated that I needed a large pant size, so I ordered them this time. Loose pajamas, comfortable. While I could probably go down a size, the fit would probably be snug and uncomfortable for a night's rest. So I believe the size chart recommendations are accurate. According to the chart, plus size pajama bottoms fit waists from 36 to 38 inches. If necessary, the pants can be pulled up with a band at the waist. I usually leave the band undone as the elastic waistband keeps the pants secure. Also, because you're not tying the band, you're less restrictive while you sleep. In summary, Mad Dog Concepts pajamas look and fit well, but the material is thin and doesn't breathe as well as cotton.
