Prior to purchasing the most recent model of Krakens (as of November 2022), I used the 2022 model for six years. The headphones were excellent value for the money, comfortable, and light enough that you could easily forget you were wearing them while playing games or listening to music (for their 4000 that they gave for them). And if it weren't for the wire fraying, the microphone starting to wheeze, and the ripped ear pads, I would still use them (but these are trifles). And I was so happy with them that I bought the most recent models of headphones without even looking at any other types. however in vain. Because they turned out to be worse than the old ones in every way, including sound quality, microphone quality (even a good sound card cannot save this), and ear cushion shape. These headphones were a total letdown for me. It gives me a little comfort to know that I purchased them on Black Friday for 4900 and that, at 7500, the price they demand, they are NOT AT ALL expensive. For this price, you can find MUCH BETTER headphones. I don't advocate for ANYONE.
