I was looking for the same format and design my old planner gave me. And ne that had a hard cover. So I was really excited to find this planner. As shown in the pictures, the biggest differences are the size, durability of cover and lack of tabs. I believe the cover will last because its pretty sturdy. It won't bend unless you put a little effort to do so. The size didn't compromise its functionality. It has everything my old planner has minus about 5 total lines. Still has the weekly quotes, yearly overview, quick reference, note paper, holidays, etc. Im really going to miss the easy access tabs, which I didn't notice before ordering, but I'll make do. Oh and it doesn't have a pocket to hold extra documents.Overall I love the size, cover design, price and quotes. This is perfect for students and teachers. 4.5 rounding up like in school. Round to 5.
