Review on Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta 9 175/65 R14 86T winter by Wiktor Stpie ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Mediocre goods, most likely I will not use.

I'm sorry in advance for the extensive review. TLC200 apparatus. With Shumkov, the car's weight and power, everything is good)) Purchased brand-new wheels and tires right away. drove them on various surfaces for roughly 4000 kilometers. After 60 kilometers, the tire service's first joint emerged. From the two left wheels, overhead weights shot out at a speed of around 100 km/h. I became aware of the tires' egginess during the re-balancing process (the surface walks by around 5 mm). This egginess causes an uneven rumbling (woah-woah-woah) when driving beyond 70 km/h. The second problem with tire fitting is that the pressure on three of the four wheels drops from 2.3 to 1.8 atm in 4-5 days. So yet, I have been unable to identify it. four times a week for three weeks. The thin and soft sidewall, which did not resemble an SUV at all, embarrassed me as soon as I purchased it (even before installation). In contrast to the Nordman 5 SUV, where I had no fear whatsoever while parking close to curbs, the Hakka 9 SUV makes it extremely dangerous to risk getting your side cut on the edge of the old curb. Another oddity is that the tire practically touches the disk when it is turned out and resting on the curb (when parked on a steep incline). In order to be clear, the tires are not low-profile (height 171mm, 2.3 atm wheels). Ah, the good old days. The car moves confidently and without incident over a thin layer of snow. In 10-15 cm of snow porridge, I want to test them out at various speeds. I also drove with assurance on an icy road with crossings (snow on ice), albeit I habitually slowed down from 110 to 90-80 km/h. The fact that the car was moving on the ice like it was asphalt baffled me. On a bend in the road, where the ice was quite ribbed and the tire started to bounce (or "goat") on it, there was a minor slide at a speed of 90 km/h, but the EDB and other systems did not even squeal. Have not yet used it in very deep snow. I'll add a review as soon as I have the chance. Excellent tires on asphalt, ice, and slush, to sum up. I would have installed five of these tires if it weren't for the ovoid, weak-looking sidewall and the consistently lowering of three of the four wheels.

Pros
  • 1. Has a lot of studs and works well in the cold. 2. Handles snow porridge (depends greatly on movement speed). 3. On asphalt, excellent braking and grip.
Cons
  • 1. Soft and rolling (particularly when rutting, feels like it's about to jump off the disc) 2. Cost (285/60 R18 is 15kR), for instance, Nordman7 is twice as affordable. 3. The rubber's egginess is around 5 mm (if you look at the surface while balancing).
