My 8 year old daughter has long wanted a 'princess canopy'. I was planning on getting her a cotton one, but I read the reviews on this product (and others) and went for it. It's very soft, pink is a very soft blush, and it's big enough for her and a friend and some very large stuffed animals to sit under. It was easy to install - she's old enough to know not to pull on it, so I attached it to the ceiling with glue, but I can always screw in a screw if needed. I wiped the blanket with alcohol first to improve grip. We are very happy with this purchase!
