Review on Skechers Womens Gowalk Chroma Slip by Tim Reimann

Comfortable and great fit but I'm wary of durability

I've had many Skechers memory foam hiking boots in this simple style and contrary to other reviews I think they fit great. I always wear a size 7 from this brand and they look just as I expected. Half a size down would definitely be too small, but the 7s don't restrict movement at all and I find them quite comfortable. In my experience, they often find them a bit snug at first. It doesn't take long to disassemble them and fluff them up a bit. The memory foam insoles are quite durable and provide good foot support. The bottom holds up well and they even have extra small pads on the back to prevent chafing on the ankles. While the material is nice and light, the look and feel of these sneakers are more like regular fabric than previous iterations I've had. It's definitely not waterproof and seems more prone to wear and tear overall. I'm a little worried it won't last as long as I'm used to. I've noticed small pills and the lint tends to stick to the outside. I love bright colors and patterns; both look very faithful to the product images. The silver stripe around the sole of a boot looks rather casual, but overall they look pretty. They appear to be well built and very comfortable so I think they are worth the price provided they hold up well over time. For now I'm very happy, but I'll update if there are any early problems.
