I just LOVE this product! I recommend my patients as an alternative whitening solution when they are unable to use bleach due to an underlying condition such as sensitivity, recession, orthodontics, tooth decay, etc. It is not abrasive like other whitening toothpastes which can actually cause hypersensitivity uses similar colors to neutralize yellowing caused by surface stains. It's the same as bleaching your hair and using blue shampoo to protect you from copper! I will say the only thing I don't like is that it doesn't contain fluoride. BUT it contains xylitol, a sugar alcohol that actually kills the bacteria that cause rot. So I would recommend mixing (a SMALL amount) with fluoridated toothpaste. and you are looking for a more natural alternative. It will whiten your teeth with continued use. As soon as you stop using it, your teeth will be back to the way they were. **I wouldn't recommend it if you just want to go ahead and try a new toothpaste just because of the higher price.
