Asics missed the target!
Compared to the Asics Resolution 5, they feel softer but less supportive, especially on the side. They're definitely a lot narrower, especially in the toe area, so I think they offer more width, which I've only seen in white before. Less noticeable arch support, which is likely sacrificed to provide a softer insole feel. Like many of my fellow tennis players, I am a bit sad that I lost my favorite shoe design in Resolution 5. I think Asics missed the mark and I will return the shoes.
