I've been looking at A LOT of men's hair/beard trimmers lately. At this point I have a pretty good idea of this segment and what sets the packaging apart. It turns out that most hair clippers seem to be made by just a few factories, with nameplates attached, different boxes, and variations of what is. included. The overall quality of these clippers is surprisingly good these days. The clippers in this set are no exception. This particular set is unusual in that it includes two clippers: a full-size clipper that allows you to trim the hair on the top of your head; head and a second, smaller T-blade clipper that is handy for trimming beards, neck hair, or other body hair. Brief description of the parts of this kit: ** Full size hair clipper with metal body, adjustable head spacing, LCD charging and oil reminder display, 2500mAh battery ** T-Blade hair clipper with metal body, fixed head spacing heads (no zero play! ), LCD -Charging indicator and oil reminder indicator, 2000mAh battery* * 2 USB to clipper charging cables (one for each hair clipper). Power supply not included** 8 color coded plastic length guides to fit a full size clipper** 4 black length guides to fit a T-blade clipper** Comb** Haircutting oil** Economical plastic bib to protect clothing* *Minor clean up Brush** Instruction Manual** Retail Packaging As previously mentioned, this set is unusual in that it includes both full-size and T-blade clippers. The style of the cars is chosen, they are aesthetically beautiful (black with gold accents). The batteries for each clipper are a good size and the LCD display is nice. My main complaint is that the T-Blade clipper doesn't have zero clearance (see photos). This means it does a good job of trimming hair back, but doesn't cut as close as many T-Blade clippers, which are completely gapless. (You must decide if this is important to you). Clippers also do not have a water resistance rating. In general it's nice to have both types of machines in one package. They are used for different purposes and it's good to have a consistent set. However, the T-Blade hair clipper has no clearance and the current price of this kit is a bit higher than what you would pay for a decent quality full-size hair clipper and a T-Blade hair clipper separately. So you have to decide how much great aesthetics and all in one box means to you.
