My kids love these visual timers. We have 30 minutes of silence every day or whenever I need a break. They love that they can see how much time they have to be silent compared to an alarm with no countdown. They also love that they can set the timer on themselves and because it's magnetic they can go to the fridge and pick it up or set it back to encourage independence. That helped us a lot.
