I really like the Brydge hub. I use it to control two monitors and multiple USB devices (thermal printer, webcam, etc.). The onboard USB-C power delivery feature is great and allows me to connect my 16" MacBook Pro to Brydge with a single cable. No additional cable connections to the MacBook are required. I only disable one USB-C connection. I would highly recommend this product if cable management is driving you crazy. I used to have a Thunderbolt adapter connecting 2 monitors. Another consideration for me. I am connecting a 4K monitor using a Brydge DisplayPort cable. I used to have a Thunderbolt adapter with 2 HDMI outputs. It worked, but when I unplugged and plugged the laptop back in, I had to unplug the HDMI cable and then plug it back into my 32" Viewsonic monitor for the display to work. fuse. I connect to Brydge and everything works fine. For me it's worth the money. If you don't mind a MacBook with lots of cable connections, you don't need it. This setup, connecting monitors, connecting the power supply, and connecting a USB hub to control external devices was driving me nuts.
