I had to rate this product because it helped me a lot. I have a small embroidery shop and towels are my best seller. Trying to hook a thick towel with a hoop and then tightening a screw to hold it in place can be a nightmare. I have replaced the bolt on my tire many times. I was hesitant at first - mainly because of the cost. I'm so glad I made the decision to purchase. I ordered 4 extra magnets after my first try because I wanted a tighter mount next to the tire mount, but the 4 that came with the machine are really very strong and sufficient for most projects. It's true that the new ring has no nicks, but I solved this problem with a small piece of wire and electrical tape. I can feel the wire through the towel, backing and decking.
