Although I give it a score of 5, I should note that there are a lot of evaluations on the market that are positive, so I will focus more on the things that are lacking and aspects that are doubtful. In addition to this unit, I also make use of a Daikin humidifier in another space so that I have something to evaluate alongside it. It is extremely easy to operate (cannot be compared with Daikin, but there is also air cleaning and, appropriately, filters, so it is not very correct to compare), and it has a huge tank of 7 liters (in Daikin, it only has a tank of 4 liters). I believe that buying a Winia would be a smart investment. There is only one issue that has to be addressed, and that is the lack of a more powerful fan setting. This will not function in this case since Daikin has more powerful modes in which it works with a whistling sound similar to that of a turbine. In certain instances, you may need to swiftly humidify the room. We always operate at full capacity, even during the night (in addition, we have forced ventilation, which is somewhat noisy; nevertheless, you won't be able to hear the humidifier that is located behind it at all). When running nonstop, the water storage tank will be full in around twenty-four hours. Do not expect any substantial air purification from it (there are dedicated devices for this, the best of which is IQAir - I will also try to give a review), although the water actually does remain yellow and with a considerable quantity of dust. The phrase "air washing" is rather marketing for such devices; do not expect any significant air purification from it. However, judging by the amount of dust that accumulates on the fan filter (and even more that travels through it), we should only talk about washing under extremely specific circumstances. There is no "smell of a thunderstorm" at all, the control is straightforward (I would say it doesn't even exist), the ionization function isn't particularly clear (this is a different substantial argument about the dangers / benefits of ionization in general), and there is no "smell of a thunderstorm" whatsoever. I have the impression that this is more of a marketing gimmick than anything else. It seems as though the humidity sensor always displays the same value; however, if you want accurate readings, you should definitely invest in a separate hygrometer. I can't say for sure whether or not it works correctly. I believe that this gadget's price is pretty appropriate for what it offers, despite the fact that it is the simplest device available (this is more of an advantage than a disadvantage).
