Hey Mazda, this key fob is a terrible battery replacement! The retailer broke my remote while changing the battery. In fact, I did better than changing the battery in my spare key myself. As a result, I had a broken keychain case. Which, while not very good from an aesthetic point of view, also caused problems with the full contacting of the battery. This led to difficulties opening the doors and eventually problems starting the car. This replacement case was perfect to replace my cracked original case. **Please note** Make sure you buy the correct key fob replacement, my 2013 Mazda only has 3 buttons while some Mazdas have a 4th button (trunk release). These 3/4 button keychains are NOT interchangeable. This was the right case for my key fob and it works great when I plug it into my old key's motherboard. Now all functions are restored and there are no more free connections!
