It's abundantly clear that, for that price, the "deficiencies" cited are nothing more than wishful thinking and nitpicking. All the JBL models I compared them to, from the cheapest to the most expensive, wired and wireless, easily outperformed my current setup. As a result of having two young children underfoot, there is always a fresh set of ears around the house. ZhBLek was not the only brand available for the same price range of $3,000-$4,000; a few models from Sony were also on the market. As a result, the soles of these Panasiks are their most salient feature. It's rich and detailed, the instruments don't hum or whine, and the individual tracks (bass, barrel, contra, and toms) don't get lost in the mix. This was the first time I'd ever heard such lows coming from any of the plugs, and it took my breath away. Highs and middles tend to get lost in the shuffle when placed next to such lows. Even if they don't sound quite as nice as they could for the price, these headphones are still a fantastic buy. However, there is a noticeable "skew" in the sound that leans more heavily toward the lower frequencies. Plugs are headphones designed for use on the subway and the street, where ambient noise levels tend to rise slowly but steadily over time. I fully acknowledge that I was not prepared for the subway with the proper electrical adapters. And in whatever style you can imagine. They don't sound any more tasty with Metallica than they would with Sting. The optimal choice also takes into account how it feels to use and how much it weighs. They fit snugly, stay put, and are nearly undetectable in the ear. Since the pontovy "wrinkle-resistant" wire is so much heavier than these "threads," I can only conclude that the ergonomics would be substantially worse if Panasonic had opted for it instead. Despite how much stronger they look at first glance. This is why, if you want to impress people, you should listen to music using AirPods. To anyone it may concern, I recommend music listening. Since I've only started using them recently, I can't speak to their durability and longevity. If they last for at least six months, I'd want to buy more of them.
