Sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. The tubes that make up the frame have sharp edges. Once assembled, they are all closed and that is not a problem. I think it took about 15 minutes to assemble. The included straps are great for hanging from a branch. We used a strap and it swayed freely, like a swing from a tire. I put it on a swing (attached to two hangers) and it works there too. When I watch children and play with them, I sit or lie on them. It's comfortable and feels perfectly durable to support my adult weight.
