Works well with my Macbook Pro, not full screen video (green overlay)

For some reason this adapter adds a green overlay to my second monitor when I display the video in full screen. This only happens on my second monitor, so it's the adapter. But only if I set the video to full screen. It doesn't matter which side I'm on. Everything else works perfectly with it. The same green.
