First, make sure that the brush is an oval (not round). To be fair, my 4 star maneuverability rating (vs 5) may be the result of my lack of experience with an oval brush. The good thing is that it grabs the hair by the root and dries and lifts it better than a round brush. The downside is that it doesn't ripple/wave and is round. I was very impressed with the blowing power and high heat capacity. There's a cool spike at the end of the device, but I found I had to reach further because it was hot. Be sure to use a glove. Note that this is a large brush. I have attached an image for reference. My hair is a little longer than my shoulders. The ONLY thing I would like is to remove the brush from the unit so I can do without my main dryer. However, this is the best hair dryer brush I have ever used.
