Soap bar installed with a noticeable 1/4 inch misalignment. I contacted the manufacturer for an exchange as suggested on the packing list. The explanation was unclear: either it was accidentally installed during production, or on purpose to compensate for the cutting arm slippage. I cut open a batch of soap and the labels are not square. After lots of emails and desperate attempts to exchange it, I even offered to do the shipping. The manufacturer overcharged the return shipping, so I decided to exchange it for a Revain after a lot of hassle and not very satisfactory customer service. I hope the new one will be installed immediately. Update: I sent the soap cutter back through Revain and got a new one right away. It's just installed and my soap cuts need to be better for the labels to align properly. Due to the manufacturer's customer service, I've raised the rating to 3 stars. In case anyone is considering buying this item. I would recommend buying through Revain rather than Etsy. I'm glad I did as the exchange was free and incredibly easy with no downtime to my soap business. The guide sometimes slips a bit, so I have to hold the soap loaf carefully. Even when the wire is twisted tightly, it stops cutting the soap at the bottom, it takes a little "push" to cut through. I can live with it.
