Review on πŸ§ƒ Coghlan's Water Bottle Tote by Jonathan Wilson

Safer than the ring holders on the carabiner. Wanderpraxis

So in my opinion they are much better to use than carabiner/key chain bottle cages which use a rubber O in the neck/bottle cap area. I tried them and they might slip. If you use glass bottles like I do (I no longer want to use plastic to store water for obvious reasons related to chemicals and concerns about the quality of my water/beverage) you may find that the bottle can slip out. I tightened the velcro very tight and added another layer of bottom strip so there was a cross to carry the bottle. Otherwise it's just a layer at the end of your water bottle. They can be slung over my shoulder and I usually carry a few things with me. a backpack, a camera strap, and that hangs up pretty well, and you can keep a good pace on hikes, be hands-free, and quench your thirst without delay. I like it very much and will probably buy another one. It's just that I'm modifying the bottom because over time yes, be careful (if using a glass bottle) as it can slip out after a while. I just sewed in this extra strip and I'm sure it works fine. However, not everyone will want to do this, so maybe buy a mesh bottle cage or something that supports the base better if available. If you are travelers and hikers and don't want to spend a lot of yuppie money then it's pretty cool to have and you can use it multiple times.
