Review on Electric scooter Ninebot Kickscooter ES2, up to 100 kg, dark gray by Anastazja Skarbie (J ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Impressions from the purchase are good, buy.

In general, I liked the scooter, put 4 out of 5 for the minuses and design flaws. Models ES2 and ES4 do not differ in anything except for an additional battery. Would like to see a wider range. For example: model No. 1 - with suspension and inflatable wheels for a soft ride. Model No. 2 - without suspension with oak wheels for high-speed driving. Well, model No. 3 - a reinforced scooter made of durable alloy for the ability to jump from the curb =) Thanks to those who read it, I wish you a pleasant use

Pros
  • A lot has been said about the advantages of this scooter, there are really a lot of them, a lot of reviews have been shot about it and even more laudatory reviews have been written. I see no point in repeating all this. In short, as I understand it, there are only two worthy devices on the market now and they are actively competing.
Cons
  • But I will describe in detail about the shortcomings, in the hope that the manufacturer will see and do something. Number one among the shortcomings is backlash. They are everywhere where there are connections of moving parts. These are wheels, steering column and suspension. The backlashes are just brutal, they appear right out of the box and only increase with time. The scooter starts to rattle like an old cart even on small bumps, I am silent about joints and tiles. The most annoying thing is that the backlash cannot be fixed by simply tightening the nuts tighter - this is a design feature and an indicator of quality. There are tips on the Internet to eliminate them, but you need to spend time and money on this despite the fact that the thing is brand new and under warranty. Do you want to do this? Drawback number two is the suspension. Or rather, its absence when it is present. The suspension of this scooter not only does not work out bumps, it frankly interferes with comfortable movement, swaying from behind and knocking from the front. By the way, on the front wheel, it does not work from the word at all. The most unpleasant thing about this suspension is that this pitching simply negates the roll of the scooter. Forget about the fact that you will ride it in comfort as usual, if the battery runs out, it's not about him. Well, the icing on the cake is that if you weigh more than 90 kg, then the rear suspension will simply sag under your weight and will only remind you of yourself with a creak. And finally, the third disadvantage is its weight. Yes, perhaps now all competitors weigh + - the same. But I sincerely do not understand what can weigh 12.5 kg in it? If only it is not made of cast iron, but really made of aluminum. This problem is fully felt when dragging the scooter up the stairs. I don't know how women and children cope with this problem. I think it would be possible to attach at least a folding handle for carrying the scooter in the area of \u200b\u200bthe folding mechanism so that it would be convenient to take and carry it if it cannot be lightened in any way
