It's just perfect! My 3yo is obsessed. If you have kids, do yourself a favor and buy them. The sound quality is amazing for the price, as is the flashlight on the back. They are lightweight and even come in three different colors. Speaking and understanding what is at stake is not a problem. It has 22 channels to find a clear channel that works and is within a three mile radius. Children can run around the schoolyard and play hide-and-seek using the walkie-talkie's clues. The kids love it and love interacting with each other. Even after being dropped, roughly planted, and spent the night outdoors, they work well. A great set for sure.
