I installed them on a 2019 Street Glide FLHXVivid Black. There are machine marks on the aluminum but I polished them with mother's polish prior to installation. Now they shine beautifully. Installation was easy.1. Remove the top screws from the case band.2. Remove the 3 screws holding the OEM latch cover.3. Fit the new latch cover and install the 3 screws as before.4. Reattach the ribbon and you're done. Tip: When removing the luggage strap, the lid of the bag will put a lot of pressure on the hinge if not held. I used masking tape to secure the lid of the bag in place. Avoid loading the pivot point before removing the cable. This leaves your hands free to install a new one. I love the design and the screw holes line up perfectly. This item is much cheaper than some other aftermarket latch covers. Time will tell if it will hold up to the elements, but it appears to be well made. I am happy with the purchase.
