I like this mouse. It's small and light, a fairly vertical mouse that suits my particular grip style well and greatly relieves the pain I feel in my hand and wrist when doing math. However, the sensor is nothing special. This is fine for everyday tasks and non-competitive play, but forget it for anything serious. For example, if you swipe horizontally (like spinning in a competitive FPS) very quickly, the sensor will 'stun' and track very slowly for a second or two until it recovers. But at this price I think that's to be expected. The problem is that after about 6 months of owning the right click, the problem started appearing. I would have to either press down firmly or up on the button to right-click to register. When I press with normal force or where my finger naturally rests on the button, no right click is registered. And this problem came from very sporadic use of the mouse - I really only used it every few days and only a few hours at a time. As it has only been 6 months I have decided to contact Perixx and see if I can send this back to them for them to fix or if they just send me a new one. I've submitted an RMA request to their website with my Revain# order, some photos of the mouse to show I haven't modified or damaged it, and a description of the right-click issues I was having . They basically contacted me and said they couldn't find my Revain order and asked for the email address I used to place the order. I sent them back my email and a screenshot of the Revain invoice showing both the mouse and the order number. They replied again that they couldn't find my Revain order number and that I would need to contact Revain for an RMA if I bought it from Revain, not them. So I sent them another email asking why Revain would cover the manufacturer's warranty or RMA and not the manufacturer themselves and why they even asked me to include my Revain order number on their own RMA form if they came after me would say that I am speaking to Revane instead of asking them for help. I also mentioned that to my knowledge, Revain only offers 30-day returns, no RMAs for defective products months after purchase. No wonder they never replied after my last email. I'm still wondering what the purpose of an RMA form on the Perixx website asking for your Revain order number is when they're just telling people to contact Revain. Luckily for me I was able to contact Revain support and although they told me the return window was long gone after I sent them screenshots of the emails I exchanged with Perixx, I think they took pity on me with me or something and decided to replace my mouse for free. So thank you Revane for that! Excellent customer service. As for Perixx, I would recommend buying a mouse from another seller if you have no other choice, or at least be prepared to buy a replacement mouse if your original mouse ever fails given the prospects of repair or support seem small to everyone.
