Review on Nikon D3100 DSLR Camera with Auto Focus-S Nikkor Zoom Lens (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Anand Gedam ᠌

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I selected a camera with a small number of M-pixels, in the combination of price-quality-functionality, this camera has no competitors. The camera is heavy - almost 800 grams, but not too heavy, the neck will not hurt. Everything is available in the menu, I studied it in 30 minutes (partly thanks to tips and reading about it), everything is exactly adjusted, it doesn’t play, I don’t write about the quality of the photos - it depends on me, this model has good hardware. I don’t consider the lack of wires in the kit to be a disadvantage, they are standard (but there were 2 magnetic filters in the kit, I already put one on the data cable). The absence of a hood (why is it needed at all?) is also not a problem, it is perfectly replaced by the left hand. :) At first I wanted a canon 1100, but everything is somehow poor there, and 550 is already a pixel-by-pixel search, and the price is 23 When buying a bag for it, consider the mobility and fragility of the front of the lens. Do not take bags in which the camera is placed with the lens down - inaccurately put it on the floor and break the focus. It is better when the fotik lies in a bag on its side or on the belly, not leaning on the trunk. Nikon 3100 is a good foundation for development, the rest is just experience.

Pros
  • Rugged body, comfortable grip (I have a small hand), convenient control, in-camera raw processing, auto-correction of lens distortions and XA, a very clear interface, standard connectors (usb, hdmi, av out), compact charging, CMOS-matrix with the function cleaning, 14MP (no frills), fast and low-noise focus, design, noble, no rattling shutter lag, clear menu prompts
Cons
  • after all, the cover of the memory card compartment is a little loose - but this is already nit-picking
