Best value for this type of record cleaner (tips included)

Most people want to know if this product is worth buying rather than wringing it out. First I had a washing machine. Did it work? Yes. Does the job well when used properly. The rollers have deteriorated over time, just like the rollers on this vacuum cleaner. The brushes also fell out due to use. Brushing and in this case will deteriorate. Cross this bridge when you get there. Brushes and press rollers are also suitable. There are some simple tips I can give you if you're on the hunt for that Studebaker and are hesitating. The solution to the water problem which some have mentioned in these reviews is to get a Kwik Seal (clean). I already had (for free). Clean the area where the container connects to the box with alcohol. Let dry. Apply Kwik to the gaps between the wood and plastic, to the seams in the corners, and to the small plastic caps covering the reservoir screws. Use your finger to spread it into the gap to create a seal. If you really want to make it very waterproof, remove the caps from the screws, remove the screws, remove the tank and apply Kwik to all edges where the tank is and place the tank back in the box . Press on it so that the sealant flows out of the slots. smooth with your finger. Leave to dry for 2 hours. water problem solved. Then buy Amazon's "Basic Amazon" yellow microfiber towels sold by Amazon ($4) (set of 3). Towels are included in this set Great for cleaning my glasses. Then grab a bottle of Spinclean ($9.99). Pour out the liquid that came with the kit. Buy distilled water at the grocery store ($0.99 per gallon). Fill the container with distilled water and add a full capful of record cleaning liquid. Place the record in the washing machine. JUST ROTATE. 3 times clockwise, 3 times counterclockwise. You don't have to mourn that. Then use microfiber towels to dry the record. Also spread the role a little further, once the rubber backing on the rollers has failed to allow the record to fit in the empty space where the rubber grommet used to be and you can get back to work on the rollers. Also, use a "small" amount of lubricant in the area where the rollers meet the container to make it easier to rotate. Did. For ($45) you have something that lasts as long and works just as well as a half price press, but a lot prettier and cooler than the yellow DMV press.
