I was very happy about this as I received a lot of positive and informative feedback. Boy was I wrong! Either I got a bad device, or the positive reviews here are a bunch of nonsense from paying customers or company employees. The sound quality is TERRIBLE! Extremely quiet, distorted and boomy. Not to mention the echo feature, which is utterly useless as it's the worst sounding reverb I've ever heard. I mentioned that to hear anything resembling a human voice, you need to have your receiver, mixer, or preamp set to MAX. Don't be fooled by the pleasant weight of the metal housing. Quality internals are what you really need. The device even came with one of the volume buttons that had already fallen off and wouldn't stay on after turning it back on. I swear I've honestly tried these mics by testing them on SEVERAL input devices. like my professional mixer, my professional USB audio preamp. and my awesome soundbar. I've tried everything to rule out user error and installation issues. NOTHING! They just suck!
