The Mavic Mini is in dire need of something to upgrade its chassis and get it off the ground a little higher, unless you want it to be damaged upon landing. I understand that DJI trimmed absolutely everything to stay under 250g and is basically belly to earth, but to be honest I just felt uncomfortable flying the Mini without chassis reinforcement. I tried different types of chassis and this worked better for me than some other much more expensive ones. It fits easily but is very snug, adding only a few grams and not affecting flight in any way while offering a larger landing area and being really affordable. I think it really is great value considering the price. I returned the more expensive chassis I bought and bought two of these instead. As with almost all accessory chassis for the Mini, you might have trouble keeping them powered up and still slipping the Mini back into their matching carry cases, but the gears take just a few seconds to turn on and off.
