This Foseal OBDII scanner does exactly what it says on the tin - it connects to the OBDII -Connects to your vehicle and provides private WiFi -Fi-connects to your smartphone and allows you to use any of the many compatible OBD apps to analyze vehicle data, performance statistics, fault codes and even (if the app allows) reset/erase faulty ones Error codes (like O2 sensors on high power). Cars) ). On my iPhone, using the excellent OBD Fusion app, the Foseal scan tool connected quickly, displayed all the vehicle data and solved the fault code reset as promised. Of course, since this provides a private WiFi connection, if you want to monitor the car's performance while driving (RPMs, etc.), you don't have a network connection for your other apps, music streaming, etc. This is just a limitation of how these WiFi scanners work. That's why they're cheaper and more reliable than their Bluetooth counterparts. My car has 2 "OBDII" ports - one is a standard OBDII port and the other is reserved for the proprietary diagnostic harness. If your vehicle has more than one port, make sure you connect it to the correct OBDII port or it will not connect (even if the light is on).
