Hands down the most disappointing tech purchase in a long time.

I bought this and a bluetooth mouse to use with my media server which is plugged in in my living room. My living room is large but far from 30 feet long. This is half of where the computer is installed and where I usually sit. I chose Bluetooth because the distance was long enough that my standard wireless keyboard and mouse would occasionally not work. Trying to find a quality Bluetooth keyboard and mouse proved quite a challenge, but this keyboard seemed to strike a good balance between cost and feature value, and received a lot of positive feedback. . After the charge indicator showed it was charged, I got to work by plugging it into my computer. That's where the problems started. I couldn't get it to connect to anything other than the "Bluetooth 3" switch, even though all of the switches flashed their respective lights. Then, despite all the lights on the keyboard and the supposedly connected PC, it will not interact with the PC. I opened a Word document to see if I can print it. Nothing, then it magically started, but it was very laggy and often spat out 10-30 letters, even though the button was pressed only once. I made a backup from a PC and it seems to have worked despite all the previous difficulties. Pressing a key results in a letter. I figured it was new technology and it might take some time to sync properly. I was very wrong. I was surfing the web a bit, answering a few emails, and looking for a show to watch before bed when the problems resurfaced. Again it became unresponsive, spitting out a character that wasn't typed, or suggesting 10 to 30 characters that were only pressed once. What a nightmare! It's unusable, and compared to my old Logitech keyboard, which broke down once or twice when it was a hair too far from the signal, i.e. missing a letter, it's ridiculous for a technology that's supposed to cover about 30 feet . Now I have to take care of the return. Don't buy, look at other options and do more research so you don't end up in this situation.
