So my only dog always seems to slip between the door and the seat. With the sides closed, it looks more comfortable. I've looked through many of these hammocks and this one is definitely my favorite so far. Love how thick it is, the right side opens up when you have a passenger which is great. The center of the dining room is great for her to see me as I see her. My boy doesn't care. He just sits there to look out the window. I just hope this does NOT rip at the front seam like my other 2 from other sellers. This does not give me the ability to rotate my photos. I also make a living just brushing his fur off. For others, the fur was sewn into the fabric. I will definitely say again that this is my favorite.
